Donations make dream school come true in Laurel
On March, the Founder of Unlimited Dreams Christian Learning Center, Amanda Cooley, shared with the Pine Belt her dream for a small non-profit, tuition-free school in Laurel.
Cooley started the school in 2020 during the pandemic. For four years, she operated the school in three different locations in Laurel.
Cooley said she wanted to give the students a central location with better resources, and she found it at the beginning of 2024.
Cooley bought the Old Glory House on North Second Avenue. She said more than 100 years of history attached to the house, but now she got to unlock its future as the New Unlimited Dreams Christian Learning Center for 117 students.
